The Children’s Train by Viola Ardone. This book is told through the eyes of an innocent, young boy facing the devastation of post WWII Italy. At that time, poor children from southern Italy were sent north to live with more fortunate families to avoid deprivation and the harsh winters. This book, based on true events, is available from local libraries.

To access the building, park in the rear parking lot and enter by the main door. Proceed through the second door to the main lobby. Follow signs to the elevator and exit on the 2nd floor. Craft Rooms are behind the elevator in the hall on the right.
