Annual Meeting
The Society’s Annual meeting is held each January. A speaker is featured, a brief business meeting is conducted, and refreshments are served. Admission is free.
Connecticut Open House Day
Held statewide on a Saturday in June, the Society opens its doors to share our state pride during day-long celebration of everything that makes Connecticut great! It’s a great way to discover or rediscover all that’s happening in our state – and in your own backyard. Admission is free.
Vintage Vehicles Antique & Classic Car Show
Held annually for Father’s Day in June, this event attracts vintage vehicle enthusiasts from all around the area. Whether you are showing off your car or admiring others, it’s a fun way for the family to spend the day and see a wide variety of antique, classic cars, trucks, muscle cars, and other vintage vehicles! Visitors can vote for their favorites and enjoy refreshments on the grounds of Shelton History Center. Admission and a vehicle registration fee are charged.
Autumn Tea
Bring your friends and admire creatively adorned table settings, based on a chosen theme, while sipping tea and tasting dainty sweet and savory offerings. Great for foodies! Reservations required, seating is limited.
Shelton Day
The first Sunday in October, downtown Shelton. Look for us there!
Holiday Happening
Themed event to celebrate the season at the Brownson House. Free special membership preview.
